Our sleeping angel

We love to watch Miss Kinsley sleep! She looks like an angel. I normally spend at least a few hours of my days starring at her in the monitor.

Notice her sleeping with her mouth open...how cute!

This is where Kinsley slept for her first 12 weeks of her life! Dad has taken it apart and put it up in the attic! Boo!

Every time I lay her down to sleep I put the sign of the cross on her forehead and say, "God be with you, night, night." You Maskills know where that comes from!

New moms out there notice what she is wrapped in...THE MIRACLE BLANKET! It has given us many hours of sleep. It is a must for the registry!

Sleeping.

Waking up.

There's my mom!

Corey and I fight over who gets to go get her when she wakes up because this is what you get!

First Trip to the Beach!

We are so blessed to live ten minutes from Wrightsville Beach. The weather was beautiful so we decided to take little miss to the beach for the first time. It was a bit cold and pretty windy, but I think we have a beach lover!

Kinsley's Baptism

What a Valentine's Day!
Kinsley's morning began with Mimi dressing her for her big day.

We were so excited to have all of our family with us and even a few friends were there for the memorable experience.

Little Miss is always so well behaved in church, but of course on this Sunday she wanted to clear her lungs! She cried the whole time we were on the alter. Maybe she didn't like the water on her head! As soon as her moment was over we walked to the back of the church and she immediatly fell asleep. Go figure!

Kinsley loves her Grandpa Creswell!

Uncle Chris and Grandma Brooks would not have missed this day!

Uncle Brian and Aunt Lindsey are Kinsley's godparents.

Grandpa and Grandma Davis drove all the way from Michigan for the event.

After the service the entire family had a nice lunch at Bluewater. This was Kinsley's reese's cake. It was delicious!

The Aquarium

We took a drive to Carolina Beach and ate at Ocean Grill. The snow did not stop the family from spending some quality time together.

Kinsley enjoyed her lunch with Grandpa Davis.

Coop loves going to the aquarium in Emerald Isle so the trip to Fort Fisher was extra special for him.

Kinsley liked Luna the albino alligator, but she loved being with her family at the aquarium. She was able to spend time with her Mimi, Uncle Brian, Aunt Lindsey, Grandma and Granpa Davis, and Grandma and Grandpa Brooks. What a lucky little girl to have so many people love her!

Miss Priss

I was talking on the phone the other day and walked over to Kinsley's play "station." Note the purse around her arm! Honestly, she did this all by herself!

The next day she placed her toy around her wrist. She wanted to wear it as a bracelet. This could be dangerous!

We just can't get enough...

Kinsley is getting better at sitting in her chair...still a bit wobbly though! Her new trick is trying to lift her head and sit up while she is lying down. It is hilarious.

Dad's favorite time of his day is bath time. He and Kinsley sing and splash in her tub. She better not be turning into a daddy's girl!

Kinsley and I try to take a walk every day. She loves it, but she doesn't like the sun in her eyes. Her pink sunglasses are a bit too big still. Miss priss, I tell you!

Every day Little Miss is growing and changing. She is grabbing her toys now and of course trying to put them in her mouth.

We haven't forgotten about you, Scotch! Scotch loves his new sister. He will walk by her and sniff and lick her head every so often. Of course he loves to sniff those diapers too! Soon they are going to be best friends!

January...

Another family tradition that is quite strange... Happy New Year Kinsley Margaret! Dad and I are so excited about the year to come!

Kinsley started sleeping in her crib. It was a sad day for Corey and I, but we have gotten a lot more sleep!

It was a cold January in Wilmington! All the more reason for us to cuddle with our little bundle.

New Traditions...

This is one Christmas that Corey and I will cherish for many years to come. Christmas eve we went to church and sang Christmas carols. Kinsley's favorite carol is "Away in a Manger," just like her mom! When we came home we had dinner with Mimi, great grandma, aunt Lynze, papa, and nanny.

Christmas morning Kinsley opened her presents from Santa Claus. The holidays are definitely more fun with a baby in the house!

After breakfast we headed to uncle Brian, aunt Lindsey and cousin Coop's. Yes, we showed up singing carols in our tacky Christmas sweaters. Sorry mom, your sweaters are tacky!

Cooper had so much fun opening all his toys. Elmo was definitely his favorite. He kept giving his new buddy kisses. So precious!

Growing baby! Month 2

We spent a lot of Kinsley's wake time having tummy time. She actually rolled over at two months old. Corey and I were so proud!.

Kinsley loves her "lovey" mimi gave her!
