Our first weekend away!

Corey and I headed to Charleston last weekend to celebrate the engagement of my best friend Lindsay and her fiance Brad. Mimi was just as excited as I was because she was able to play all weekend with Kinsley. Corey and I enjoyed our time way, but missed her like crazy. I think I only called Mimi 10 times (that isnt bad, right?) They went on walks, played airplane, went out to eat, and Kinsley actually slept better for Mimi then she has for us! Go figure! Here are a few pics from our night out!

Obviously Corey had a great time. Emily I think you were egging him on! Look at you laughing at him!

Kinsley and her best friend

This past month Kinsley and Scotch's relationship has blossomed. She loves him! When she is laying on the floor he will come over and lay down next to her. She just smiles and laughes at him. This morning I watched her when I let him in the back door, she smiled as he came in. When she wakes up he is right behind me to wish her a good morning. Usually this consists of several licks and sniffs to her face. I am afraid she is going to say "Scotch," before she says, "mama!"

Scotch is protecting his sister while she naps!

Kinsley's new thing....

This face is just hilarious. She woke up the other morning biting her bottom lip. She sucks on it so hard that she makes a whistling sound. Drool just pours out of her mouth. I think this might be occuring because it feels good on her bottom gums. Maybe there will be some teeth soon!

She has found her feet! Soon after she found them she learned to put them in her mouth. I know it is not the most lady like thing to do, but she loves it.

Now that she has found her feet and they immediatly go into her mouth, with just a little wiggle she rolls over. She rolled from her tummy to her back at 2 months old, but now she can go from her back to her belly.

She enjoys spending time in her exersaucer and playing on the floor. When you lay her down on her belly facing one way you turn around and she is on her back on the other side of the room. It won't be long now and she will be crawling around. She is growing so fast and we are loving every second.

Our first family vacation!

Our vacation began with a trip to Salisbury. I was able to attend one of my dear friend's from college baby shower. Jennifer looks amazing and I can't wait to meet Mr. No name.

We went to visit Uncle Travis. It was his 32nd birthday so Kinsley wanted to give him some love on his big day.

We left the house at 5:30 am and drove until 5:30 pm. Kinsley was amazing. I would jump to the back seat to read, feed her, and play with her purse every so often. I can not believe what a trooper she was. Scotch was a trooper too. We can't forget about him! I will be doing a blog soon about the relationship between Scotch and Kinsley. They are so cute together!

When we arrived Kinsley got to meet her Aunt Rachel for the first time. Kinsley loved her. EVERY time Kinsley looked at her she smiled. It was adorable except when I was trying to feed Little Miss and Aunt Rachel thought is was funny to make Kinsley laugh the whole time.

Aunt Mary was excited to feed Kinsley her first Michigan meal.

Kinsley and Uncle Tim

Grandma Davis gave Kinsley her first piano...go figure! It is her favorite toy these days. She smiles everytime she hits the keys that make the lights blink and the music play. Corey wants Kinsley to play the piano when she grows up. Hopefully one of her talented aunt or uncles will teach her.

Little Miss did not sleep very well that week. I think it had to do with the traveling and having to sleep in her pack-n-play. We took a nap together on our first morning of vacation. There is nothing better!

We had such a great time hanging out with the family. This one I included for you Rachel....note the shirts. All three wore the exact same shirt without knowing it. Steve did not want to pose, so this is the best I could do!

Whenever we are in Rochester we HAVE to go to our favorite place to eat a coney dog! Kinsley had her maiden trip to Lipumas!

Rice cereal, peas, carrots, sweet potatos, and CONEYS!

Our next stop was 981 Hemlock...Papa and Grandma's house!

Kinsley finally got to meet her Great Grandma Maskill, her namesake!

Paige and Kinsley became best friends really fast.

"God be with you!"

Four generations!

Kinsley loved meeting her Great Grandpa Maskill. Watch out for those teeth Kinsley. They may jump out at you!

Kinsley with her Great Aunt Katrina, I mean Lisa.

Grandpa Davis celebrated his birthday while we were there!

Grandpa and Kinsley. He knew just what to do to get that little girl to smile.

Easter with the Davis family

This poor sweet baby got back in her carseat after traveling 15 hours on Friday to go see her cousin Coop. I could not believe that she was still smiling!

Kinsley thought Cooper was the cutest thing she had ever seen. She kept smiling at him and trying to grab his hand. Cooper on the other hand was a bit skeptical of the situation. Adorable!

This one is one of my all time favorites!

The Easter bunny came to visit!

We spent the afternoon playing in the back yard. The cousins loved feeding the fish and watching them eat the bread.
