Mother's Day #2

Grandma and Grandpa Brooks came to visit last weekend to celebrate Mother's day with the Creswells. Uncle Chris and Buddy came on Saturday too. Unfotunatly for Chirs, I think Kinsley was more excited to see Buddy. We had a great dinner prepared by the boys and enjoyed the beach on Saturday.

We took Kinsley to the beach for the first time this summer, on Saturday. Mrs. Megan gave us a tent, and we set out with some new beach toys. Corey and I set up the tent and then Kinsley played in the sand for a while. She drank a bottle and then I put her down for a nap in the tent. She did not get the memo that she was suppose to sleep in the tent though. She eventually fell asleep for a quick nap. We had a great time and we are looking forward to doing it again this weekend. Let the summer begin!

My first Mother's Day!

This was the best Mother's Day EVER! The weekend started out with Relay for Life. As you know that is very near and dear to my heart. I loved having my baby with me making that first lap this year. My brother Brian and his family were able to join us too for the first time. They spent the weekend with us to celebrate with Mimi on her day.

I just love her! She is already people watching with me and cracking jokes. Little Miss is sitting in the highchair now too! No more car seat at the table!

We went to the park and walked the trails after lunch. Funny experience, huh Mimi!

6 months....

This month has been a blast. Kinsley is growing and changing so quickly. She is more fun every day, and we are counting down the days until summer when I get to play all day with her.


She is developing the sweetest personality. Kinsley is always happy and smiling! What a cutie!

She is sitting up all by herself!


Bath time is still a favorite time for Kinsley and dad. I am sad when I think about the fact that the pink tub is going to be have to be put away soon!

Finally....we are sleeping through the night! (Give or take the weekends!) All nighters have a whole new meaning to Corey and I these days.


Her favorite toy is her exersaucer. She loves to jump around and eat all her toys.

Ok, I had to do it! Yes she has hot pink toe nails! ADORABLE!



She is almost on the move. Kins is lifting up, rolling, and moving around in a circle. It won't be long before she is crawling....where does the time go?
