Kinsley had the most perfect birthday party at Jungle Rapids this weekend. Her grandparents, sweet little friends, and their parents joined us. When I woke up Saturday morning and it was nasty and cold outside, I knew I made the right decision!!! Kinsley played, ran, jumped, and laughed so hard. We indulged in pizza and a cupcake cake (at Kinsley's request.) It was such a fun day. Thank you for all of you who joined us on her special day!

Panther Game
Corey and I headed to Lake Norman for a weekend of baby celebrating (without our baby, thanks to Mimi.) Lauren and Aubrey had a beautiful baby shower in Davidson and then we drove to Charlotte to meet baby Gray. What a blessing those bundles of joy are!
My little baby's toddler bed
So the time has come to get Kin's a new big girl bed. She has been sleeping in this toddler bed for about a month. The first night we put her in it, we closed our eyes and held our breath. We watched the next morning through the monitor as she slowly realized that she could get out all by herself. She can't open the door yet so she just bangs on the door, yelling, "mama!" We had a rough second night, but she has done perfect since then! I hope the big girl bed goes just as smoothly...pictures of that will be soon!!

Mike's farm
Our little family headed out to Mike's farm to get our pumpkins for this year. I have never been to a real pumpkin patch before and this was quite the experience. Thousands of people from all around the east head to this farm each fall, and there may have been about a thousand people there when we were there! We lucked out and met some really nice people who gave us the royal treatment on our visit! Kinsley loved the hayride, all the pumpkins, and of course the animals.
Half way!
21 weeks. We are very excited to meet our new little addition. We had our big ultrasound and she/he is healthy and growing beautifully! Corey and I closed our eyes during the sex portion of the ultrasound...knowing me, the planner, you know this is totally out of character, but very fun!
Kinsley and daddy's date morning
Daddy took Kinsley to the beach for the morning. When she wakes up we have about an hour to play around the house before she starts asking to go bye bye. She asked to go to the beach this morning and dad said ok. So they headed off before we went to Emerald Isle for the weekend with the Davises. She loves the beach...I think she loves the fact that she can run and run and run. She thinks the birds are pretty cool too!
Heels
It looks like heels make Kinsley's feet hurt as bad as mine!
These days Kinsley loves shoes, they can be mine, dad's, boots, dress up, or just her tennis shoes! She puts them on herself and then takes them off.

Monkey Joes!
Swinging at the park
Kinsley's favorite thing in the whole world is swinging! She could do it for hours. Now that we have 3 swings in the back yard, we spend about an hour a day on the swings. She loves doing underdogs and going very high!
Fort Fisher Aquarium!
Brian and Lindsay had their Marine Ball and asked us to keep Cooper for the weekend. We had a ball ourselves! He and Kinsley get along so well. Well, he doesn't mind giving Kinsley what she wants, so she loves him! We headed to Fort Fisher after an early morning of playing and pancakes. They must of had fun because Cooper was sleeping about 5 minutes into the trip home.
