We took the girls to Little River to hang out in the pool Saturday. It was relaxing for me again, because Harper slept most of the day (as you can see in the picture below,) and Kinsley is a fish and swam with Corey all day. The storm stayed away all day and we were able to enjoy the sun and company!

Harper's first night in her crib!
Friday night Corey and I decided that we would try the crib. Harper has been sleeping most of the night in the swing and then when she woke up for a feeding I would move her into the bassinet or in the bed with us (Shh don't tell anyone!) I was anxious about how much sleep we were going to miss, so I decided to try it on a long weekend.
Of course, she did awesome! She slept from 8-5:30. I fed her at 5:30 and she slept until 8. Night 2 she slept from 8:30-4:30. After her feeding she slept until 8:45!
She has taken several naps in there now too. I just place her in the crib awake and she soothes herself to sleep, which last a few hours. WE ARE BLESSED!
Swinging!
Poor Harper, Kinsley wants her to play with her. On this night, Kinsley wanted her to swing with her. You can tell that Harper was less than thrilled, but Kinsley loved it! They are going to be the best of friends!
Greyson James Davis has arrived!
Greyson James was born May 17th at 8:26 am. We have waited anxiously for his arrival while Brian has been gone. He is beautiful and the perfect addition to the Davis family.
Proud daddy! Thank God he made it home just in time for Grey's arrival!
The bothers and their babies!

Uncle Corey the camel.
Dancing at Greek Fest
We went to Greek Fest to have am authentic gyro and instead Kinsley enjoyed it more than Corey and I. She made some friends and danced all night. It was adorable.
Our first beach trip of 2012!
This summer is going to be so much fun! Kinsley loves the water and of course the beach, and our sweet Harper loves to sleep. I had the most enjoyable mothers' day basking in the sun listening to laughter and waves.

One thing I was so excited about when I heard that I had delivered another little girl was dressing them in matching outfits. I have a few and I am sure I will start accumulating more. The funny thing is I think Kinsley likes it more than I do. She wakes up in the morning and says she wants to match...which means she wants to match what her sister is wearing. I love it!
This morning I caught the girls playing together. Kinsley loves to take Harper all of her stuffed animals. She lays them all around her and some times on top of her!
Harper has started to enjoy playing in the her play mat. Of course, Kinsley loves to get in in it just as much!

Pure sweetness!
Our hero is home!
Brian provided us with another top 10 life experience this week. Corey and I have decided that all Americans need to participate in a homecoming of a military serviceman. It was an experience we will never forget. Watching Brian fly over us knowing that he has not seen his family or friends for 6 months was a mind boggling thought. I could not imagine not tucking Kinsley in every night and saying her prayers with her. He sacrificed so much this past six months for this country and we just take this for granted. Thank God he is home safe on NC turf and so ready to meet his new little baby! Lindsey's induction is set for May 17th, so daddy JUST made it home!
My sweet patriotic girls!
Yes, she has in ear plugs! It was so loud in the hanger..but obviously not too loud to catch a nap.
Brian left Azores, Portugal Monday morning and flew into Cherry Point, NC. There were 10 Harriers that flew with him. All the jets landed and came to the hanger together to greet their family and friends.
This one is my favorite! Cooper had his hands out for so long, reaching for his daddy. Adorable!
Baby Davis sure has grown while dad was away!
Together again!

31...my best year yet!
This birthday was one of my favorite that I can remember. Mimi met me on Friday half way from Rocky Mount and took Kinsley for the weekend. Harper and I spent the afternoon running errands. It sounds crazy, but Harper is a breeze to take on errands compared to my energetic 2 year old! When Corey got home we headed downtown for an awesome dinner on the river front. It was so nice to have a conversation over dinner without being interrupted. Saturday started out with breakfast and a relaxing morning at the house. I actually got to drink a cup of coffee and not heat it up in the microwave twice! You moms know what I am talking about! :) We then headed to lunch downtown. The evening ended with us relaxing watching a movie. Corey made me a birthday breakfast Sunday and again went out to lunch. I met mom in the afternoon to get my little girl back. I had the best weekend snuggling with Harper and actually talking to Corey, but man I missed my little girl. Thanks Mimi and Papa, what weekend next month are you available?
When we got home dad had a cheesecake ready for us to eat! Kinsley helped me blow out the candles-or spit them out!
2 months old!
I couldn't choose which picture I liked better, so this month there are two. Harper found her smile and her hands this month.
We have had a couple nights when she slept from 7:30-5:30 or 6:00. They are few and far between, but much appreciated. She loves her swing, going for walks, and has even started to let me lay her in her jungle gym to play for a bit. At her two month doctor appointment Harper weighed in at 12.2 lbs! She is 75% across the board. I just washed and hung up all of Kinsley's 6 months clothes for her! I keep saying she can wear them because they have been washed and dried a few times. hehe
